Promoting healthier menu options

LOGAN, UT-- Burger Planet has now teamed with Jayne Peterson in their efforts to provide healthier menu options for their customers. Jayne Petersen, a 42-year-old fitness guru to the stars, preaches the message of moderation along with 20 minutes of walking. As president and CEO of Looking Glass, Inc., Petersen has accomplished what no other fitness guru has done, help Opal Whitcomb lose 75 pounds and keep it off.
"Women on a diet are allowed to eat whatever they want as long as that choice is only one of their meal items per day. Moderation is key," said Petersen.

"For more than seven decades, Burger Planet has put it's customers first, as well as their health and well-being," said CEO Mullenbach. Succeeding by their customers, the company is committed to offer healthier options which none is similar to their competitors. Their new options icludes: chicken breast wrapped in lettuce, packets of apple slices, grapes, bananas, peaches and pineapples in place of fries, and an assortment of gourmet salads. Burger Planet also introduces ways to save calories to customers who don't want to give up traditional entrees by holding the mayo, swapping a bun for a lettuce wrap, and even with the bun the sandwich is only 300 calories.

"Burger Planet has been a leader in the Quick Service Restaurant industry in offering healthy menu choices. The company believes in encouraging customers to live healthier, active lifestyles and I have spent my life trying to teach women that lesson," said Peterson. Along with developing new tray liners that will offer nutritional advice and a new adult Burger Planet Smiley Meal, Petersen will also work with the chefs to make sure the new options are as healthy as possible. Corny the Clown, the beloved Burger Planet mascot, and Petersen will unite in advertisements and in health-conscious appearance at resaurants and shopping malls around the country. The first event is the kick-off ceremony at the Burger Planet franchise located in Times Square in New York, New York on 12th of May. "
